I love the High Line and all of the grasses that blend together for lovely backgrounds

It’s finally getting to be fall in NYC! Although the temperature doesn’t really feel like it yet… the trees are at least turning pretty colors

Melinda and Damian have an *adorable* Maltese named Lenox. Such a cutie!!

I got her to be serious for one shot

This was an extra fun shoot because Meg brought her dog, Shea, along with her! Shea is named after the one and only Shea Stadium… I have to say that Meg is one of the few people who rivals my husband for being the biggest Mets fan

One of the cool things about the High Line is that there is a great mix between the wild and weedy plants and the urban buildings and structure that surrounds them.

We were in Long Island City, by the cool Pepsi sign. It’s such a cool area because there are so many grungy textures around to use for backgrounds.

She loves to play pool, so it was fitting to get some shots around the pool table. I love this one, she looks so tough!

The pool room itself was decorated in this beautiful rich leather. Very cool atmosphere:)

In these next two I was playing around with my flash… the first photo is bounced flash off of the wall, and the second is with the flash on a table behind her head. Love that backlight

We had a lot of fun during this shoot at Madison Square Park. I think we both left much more happy and energized than when we arrived

I love her hair! Coming from someone with stick-straight hair, her waves look so pretty and naturally frame her face.

One thing that seemed to help her relax was climbing up tall monuments

It was so much fun to photograph her. She is a real natural in front of the camera, since she’s used to having headshots taken.
