I am in wedding photo overload! What makes your photography different?
Whenever you look at the photos I’ve taken at your wedding, you will be able to take pride in the wedding you’ve created. You are putting a lot of time and effort into this one day, and my job is to capture all of the things that make it unique. All the little details you worked so hard to bring together and the unscripted moments that made your day special will shine through!
Will you be the actual photographer present on the wedding day?
Yes, Kimberly Salem will personally be the one covering your big day.

What kind of photobooth do you offer?
If you are thinking of having a
photobooth at your reception, we offer an automated open-air photobooth, which means that there is a camera setup with a backdrop and a big red button for you and your guests to push to take photos. We bring along a bunch of props and chalkboards, which always make for fun photos! You can view the images online after the wedding, and you’ll also receive all of the digital files from the booth.

How far do you travel for weddings?
We are located right smack in the middle of Long Island! Working out here is great, since it is so easy to get to NYC, plus there are so many great places out on Long Island as well. We also travel to parts of NJ and the Hudson Valley.
Do you include digital files in your wedding packages?
Absolutely! You will receive high resolution files in jpeg format along with all of my wedding coverage packages. The files come with a personal use license, which allows you to print the photos to your heart’s content.
How soon after my wedding will I be able to see my photos?
Before your wedding day, we will post an
online ordering gallery where you and your guests can sign up to be notified about your wedding photos. Within 4 to 6 weeks of the wedding day, you’ll get an email letting you know that your photos are ready to view in the gallery. You’ll then be able to browse all of your images, pick out favorites, and order prints.
What is the difference between ordering prints through the gallery and printing the proof images ourselves?
We guarantee that you will be happy with all prints ordered through the online gallery! They are printed at a professional lab that produces tip-top quality, archival prints. Each order you place is managed through my studio and will receive extra special customer service.
I have this big open space on my wall that needs to be filled! Do you offer larger size prints?
Photo canvases and fine art prints are great options for wall art! We would be happy to walk you through choosing prints that would work best for your space. All larger prints ordered through your gallery will go through another editing process to perfect each image before it goes to print. This means that we’ll use the magic of Photoshop to take out any stray hairs, odd background elements, and anything else distracting. The final print will be crisper, more vibrant, and look great on your wall

What is a proof image?
A proof image is an image that has gone through a basic editing process, which includes color correction and exposure correction as well as some black and white conversions. These proof images are the versions you will receive as jpegs. Unlike physical prints ordered through the online gallery, they do not go through any further retouching or mastering.
Should I hire a second shooter?
A second shooter is available to you as an add-on option, and is included in some wedding packages. Having a second shooter brings not just another eye, but also another perspective to enrich the wedding coverage. The photographers that I work with are all professionals, with wedding experience under their belts. Especially for larger weddings, a second shooter is something you should consider.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, my business is fully insured!
Do you carry backup equipment?
Yes, we always carry backup equipment, just in case! There are so many unknowns in a wedding day that it is very important to have reliable backup equipment.
