Doors & Windows – Italy and Germany

When my husband and I took a trip to Italy and Germany last year, for some reason I became obsessed with doors and windows. There is so much texture and character everywhere you look, and the doors and windows just stuck in my mind. I turned it into a project and had fun putting together this slideshow some of my shots:)

p.s. It’s my first time using this slideshow software, how do you all like it? If you can’t see it above this line, click through to check it out on my blog!

The Ceremony

One of the coolest things I’ve seen at a wedding — a brass band! Definitely added to the Mardi Gras feel.

NYC Photog Shootout

Photog Shootout is a really cool movement founded by Rob “Ninja” Nicholson that aims to bring photographers together to connect with each other, learn new things and have fun shooting:)I was lucky enough to attend the NYC shootout this past weekend, and I just wanted to share a few of my photos. It was a lot of fun!

Even though they’re a bit more glam than my usual style, I had a really good time with these photos. I think it’s good to break out of what you’re used to and flex some creative muscle now and then! I can’t wait to go to the next one!
